A large grass fire is burning south of E Hill in the City View area of Evanston. Mandatory evacuations are in place for the neighborhoods on Crestview, Del Rio and Troy Court. Officials are staging the Machine Shop as a shelter for evacuees. Their is a fireworks ban in effect in the Evanston area until further notice. The annual 4th of July fireworks show has been canceled. (HERALD PHOTOS/Sheila McGuire)
