Our beautiful, blue-eyed son, brother, father and friend, Geoffrey “Jim Bob” Gerrard, closed his eyes for the last time and exited his physical body on Saturday, Sept. 19.
“Bob,” as he was most often called, was born on June 28, 1975, to Beverly Nelle Taggart and Vern Allen Gerrard. A talented artist, he was known by those who loved him for his warm, loving manner and wise, understanding spirit.
Three brothers and one “seester” shared his life with him: Christopher Gerrard, Gabriel Gerrard, Jacob Marquez and Pearl Marquez.
He is also survived by a daughter, Avery Cowper, and her children, Adelaide and Jonathan. His niece and nephews also shared some special times with him that we will always remember. Ashlyn, Luke and Keegan all gave him many smiles.
A private family memorial and tribute will be held in the near future.
The family would like to deeply thank all those who have come to their aid when they were most needed.
