The Evanston Union Presbyterian Church and the Evanston Historic Preservation Commission invite the public to join them for an evening reception, which will include wine, chocolates and conversation, in order to help raise matching funds for the restoration of the church’s historic stained glass windows.

It will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, in the old Post Office, located at 10th and Center. Admission is $10 and will also enter you into a drawing for a stained glass transom.

Representatives of the Union Presbyterian Church expressed their appreciation for the generous matching fund grant received from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund. This grant and individual donations will enable the church to move forward with the restoration of the 121-year-old stained glass windows.
