An unoccupied Bear River house on Deer Mountain caught fire in its bathroom around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Evanston Fire Capt. Tim Overy said the fire was likely caused by a heating lamp and bathroom fan all-in-one combination in the bathroom. No one was in the house at the time and no one was injured. Overy said the blaze was mostly contained to the bathroom and caused an estimated $15,000 in damage. (HERALD PHOTO/Jamie Durrant)
