Final gymkhana of the season

Members of the Bear River Riders finished out their season with some great competition and a whole lot of fun. In the walk-trot competition, Emily Harris, riding Shilo, won the event scoring a perfect 30 points by winning barrels, poles and the bonus event. Karli Crompton, riding Sophie, was second with 27 points and Cooper Zwahlen, riding Cash, was third with 21 points.

Barrel racing was an exciting event. In the pee-wee division (10 and under), Laura Lofthouse rode Kimber to first place with a time of 21.92. Annalee France riding Trixie was second with a time of 22.34 and Mia Fantozzi on Lonestar was third with a time of 22.56.

Sarah Woodland rode Caspian to win the junior division (11 to 13) of barrel racing with a time of 21.174. Dani Rae Zwahlen rode Cash to second place with a time of 21.461 and Travis Alexander on Don Pedro was third with a time of 22.642.

In the youth division (14-17), Taylor Allen rode Mack to win the event with a time of 18.81. Rylee Hatz on Maverick was second with a time of 21.159 and Eleanor Brisbois was third with a time of 22.112.

Megan Pratt won the adult division (18-39) with a time of 19.51 on the back of Jubaly. Emilene France rode Frosty to take second place in barrel racing with a time of 19.6. Sam Hakala was third on Summer with a time of 20.07.

In the classic division (over 40) Wendy Pratt rode LuLu to win the event with a time of 20.473. Paige Woodland on Rio was second with a time of 20.652 and Helen Fuller on Scooter was third with a time of 24.451.

Poles provided more excitement, putting both rider and horse to the test.

In the pee-wee division, Laura Lofthosue won with a time of 26.626. Annalene France was second with a time of 27.258 and Tessa Zwahlen rode Ranger to place third with a time of 27.511.

Sarah Woodland won the junior division with a time of 23.749. Travis Alexander was second with a time of 28.358 and Dani Rae Zwahlen was third with a time of 29.621.

Taylor Allen won the youth division on Mooney with a time of 22.6. Rylee Hatz was second with a time of 25.6 and Maggie Zwahlen rode Bo to place third with a time of 36.28.

Genesis Martinez won the adult division with a time of 25.35. Jessica Lester on CC was second with a time of 27.35 and Megan Pratt was third with a time of 29.24.

Wendy Pratt won the classic division with a time of 23.861. Paige Woodland was second with a time of 24.202 and Patti Bindl rode Mack to place third with a time of 27.176.

In the bonus competition, Erich Jaques rode Bella to win the junior division with a time of 18.617. Brookell Crompton rode Rachet to place second with a time of 19.909 and Hunter Jaques rode Smokie to place third with a time of 20.024.

Sarah Woodland won the junior division with a time of 16.527. Travis Alexander was second with a time of 18.529 and Emily Jaques rode Dodge to place third with a time of 19.559.

McKenna Ivie rode Geo to win the youth division with a time of 17.474. Rylee Hatz was second with a time of 18.168 and Maggie Zwahlen was third with a time of 19.729.

Genesis Martinez won the adult division with a time of 17.975. Jessica Lester was second with a time of 19.798 and Sam Hakala was third with a time of 22.925.

Wendy Pratt won the classic division with a time of 17.822. Paige Woodland was second with a time of 19.603 and Ann VanWeerd rode Rio to a third place finish with a time of 22.635.

The final points standings for the season have been calculated and Emily Harris on Shilo finished first in the walk-trot event with a total of 119 points. Cooper Zwahlen was second with 108 points and Karli Crompton was third with 107 points.

The pee-wee division was won by Tessa Zwahlen on Ranger with a total of 129 points for the season. Erich Jaques and Bella were second with 103 points and Corbin Combs with Timber were third with a total of 90 points.

Dani Rae Zwahlen won the junior division with 122 points. Sarah Woodland was second with 118 points and Makinsy Huntington was third with 93 points.

McKenna Ivie won the youth division with a total of 135 points. Rylee Hatz was second with 123 points and Haley Langford rode Bailey to third place with a total of 102 season points.

Genesis Martinez won the adult division for the season with a total of 127 points. Jessica Lester was second with 124 points and Janelle Brown rode Eddie to third place with a total of 81 points.

Paige Woodland won the classic division with 137 points. Helen Fuller was second with 105 points and Ann VanWeerd was third with 104 points.
