The Evanston Middle School and Davis Middle School Math Counts teams competed at Western Wyoming Community College in February at the Wolsborn-Drazovich State Math Contest. At the eighth-grade level, Evanston Middle School’s Hyrum Baxter took first place, while Hadley Blackwell took third, Kamrie Frongner fourth, Broedy Reeves fifth, Jack Driver sixth and Derek Parks ninth. At the sixth/seventh grade level, Paul Baxter finished first, with Jaxon Sharp in fifth, Jessica Powell and Kya Coles in a tie for sixth, and Kade Sims and Corben Richard in a tie for eighth.
