Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 129 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Oct. 5, and Wednesday, Oct. 11. Incidents included four alarms, seven ambulance or medical assists, 21 animal problems, four simple assaults, two citizen complaints, six citizen disputes and seven citizen assists.

Officers also responded to a report of a civil problem, a citizen investigative contact, two controlled substance possessions, DUI, a family fight, fraud, two harassments, an information report, two intoxicated persons, three juvenile problems, three keep the peace incidents, lost or found property, two missing persons, a noise problem, a parking problem, property destruction and two prisoner transports.

Officers also responded to a report of suspicious activity, two suspicious incidents, a hit and run traffic accident, six traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, a traffic hazard, property theft, trespassing, unsecure premises, vagrancy, two wanted persons, and two welfare checks. 

The Evanston Police Department arrested seven persons between the dates of Oct. 5 and Oct. 11.

Anderson D. Antelope, Sr., of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.

Gary D. Brophy, of Fort Pierce, Florida, was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. 

Brenda M. Brumme, of Evanston, was arrested for felony probation revocation.

Shane C. Dean, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication and assault and battery.

Laramie A. Giatroudakis, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.

Juel L. Powell, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with police, trespassing, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Dee A. Trimble, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation.
