Evanston police incidents
Oct. 2-4, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 64 incidents between the dates of Monday, Oct. 2, and Wednesday, Oct. 4. Incidents included three alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, 14 animal problems, an assault with a weapon, two agency assists, a citizen dispute, two citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, a civil problem, a fire, a family problem, an information report, an intoxicated person, three juvenile problems, a message delivered, a noise problem, three suspicious incidents, suspicion, a traffic accident, a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic hazard, theft, traffic control, three trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, and a welfare check.
The Evanston Police Department arrested two persons between the dates of Oct. 2 and Oct. 4.
Robin R. Helsel, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, was arrested for assault and battery.
Charles R. Morris, of Malden, Missouri, was arrested for public intoxication.
