Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 274 incidents between the dates of Thursday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 28. Incidents included four alarms, an assault, 15 ambulance or medical assists, 38 animal problems, seven simple assaults, breaking and entering (Grass Valley Dr.), residential burglary (Hansen Ave.), disorderly conduct, two domestic problems, domestic violence, a drug interdiction, three DUIs, three driving under suspensions, three family fights, two family problems, four frauds and two harassments.

Officers also responded to eight juvenile problems, four keep the peace incidents, lost or found property, minor in possession of alcohol, two noise problems, non-vandalism property damage, a probation/parole violation, two protection order violations, 10 suspicions, two hit and runs, nine traffic accidents with property damage, shoplifting, threatening, property theft, unsecure premises, vagrancy, three vandalisms, five wanted persons and 12 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 15 persons between the dates of March 15 and March 28.

Brant B. Aderman, of Liveoak, California, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Scott R. Allen, of Pinedale, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.

Jaime P. Babilis, of Mills, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater and driving while under suspension.

John D. Batten, of Ogden, Utah, was arrested for domestic assault.

Adam L. Chapman, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater, a miscellaneous traffic law violation and interfering with police. 

John L. Godlevsky, of Evanston, was arrested for aggravated burglary.

Edward C. Halsten, Jr., of Evanston, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance and attempt/conspiracy.

Beau J. Howard, of Cleveland, Tennessee, was arrested for assault and battery.

William W. Lewis, of Evanston, was arrested for possession of stolen property. 

Taryn N. Martin, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension and misdemeanor probation violation. 

Johanne A. Maycock, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Logan A. McGee, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation. 

Melanie S. Montgomery, of Saratoga, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

Gail D. Roberts, of Evanston, was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation.

Jose S. Romero, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
