Evanston police incidents
June 14-17, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 97 incidents between the dates of Thursday, June 14, and Sunday, June 17. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, an assault, three alarms, six ambulance or medical assists, 13 animal problems, two alcohol offenses, four citizen disputes, two DUIs, a family problem, two harassments, three intoxicated persons, a juvenile problem, two keeping the peace incidents, lost or found property, a suspicious incident, a suspicious person/circumstance, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, vandalism, three wanted persons and a welfare check.
The Evanston Police Department arrested eight persons between the dates of June 14 and June 17.
Jamie J. Brophy, of Warwick, Rhode Island, was arrested for public intoxication.
Justin H. Elenbaum, of Green River, was arrested for driving under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Zachary S. Ellis, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
April R. Hill, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
James L. Jennings, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.
Makayla D. Johns, of Evanston, was arrested for attempt/conspiracy.
Michael W. Seaver, of Carson City, Nevada, was arrested for public intoxication.
Deserai I. Symons, of Evanston, was arrested for theft.
