Evanston police incidents
June 1-4, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 93 incidents between the dates of Thursday, June 1, and Sunday, June 4. Incidents included bodily assault, six ambulance or medical assists, 10 animal problems, two simple assaults, an agency assist, a citizen dispute, a citizen assist, a citizen investigative contact, domestic violence, a drug test, a family fight, fraud, three incidents of harassment, three information reports, two intoxicated persons, a runaway juvenile, 10 juvenile problems, two incidents of keeping the peace, three lost property incidents, a protection order violation, reckless endangering, six suspicious incidents, a hit and run, a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic hazard, a traffic offense, two incidents of property theft, trespassing, unsecure premises, joyriding, two incidents of vagrancy, three incidents of vandalism and five welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested one person between the dates of June 1 and June 4.
Sean W. Weston, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic abuse.
