Editor”s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 243 incidents between the dates of Thursday, July 5, and Sunday, July 15. Incidents included four alarms, seven ambulance or medical assists, 42 animal problems, nine agency assists, three citizen disputes, 12 citizen assists, controlled substance possession, a curfew or loitering problem, three domestic violence incidents, five DUIs, three DUS incidents, an emergency detention, a false fire alarm, a fire, two family problems, two fireworks incidents, a gunshot wound, five intoxicated persons and two juvenile problems.

Other incidents included keeping the peace, lost or found property, eight noise problems, two parking problems, a public service program, suspicious activity, 10 suspicious incidents, three suspicions, a hit and run, six traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, property theft, threatening, trespassing, unsecure premises, vandalism, three wanted persons, two warrant arrests and five welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 19 persons between the dates of July 5 and July 15.

Armando C. Beltran, of Evanston, was arrested for being a person under the influence.

Kaysia N. Cook, of Evanston, was arrested for battery of a household member.

Chet R. Cusick, of Orem, Utah, was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. 

Casey R. Deister, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.

Christopher J. Fields, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery. 

Robert J. Finney II, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and an out-of-county warrant. 

Jose L. Gonzalez-Angulo, of Evanston, was arrested for battery of a household member.

Steven H. Hopes, of Goshen, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication. 

Linda A. Miner, of Evanston, was arrested for trespassing.

Sabrina N. Miramontes, of Cherry Valley, California, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Jose J. Sabedra Delgado, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and driving while under suspension.

Jessica L. Schneider, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.

Amber D. Schreiner, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Shawnessa M. Soule, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater. 

Garth O. Stringer, of Mountain View, was arrested for failing to appear.

Devin R. Symons, of Evanston, was arrested as a felon carrying a weapon, felony probation revocation, failing to pay, possessing a controlled substance, criminal entry and possessing stolen property.

Jose R. Torres, of Evanston, was arrested for identity theft. 

Dee A. Trimble, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear. 

Brittain S. Williams, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for public intoxication, possessing paraphernalia, battery, possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and child endangering.
