Evanston police incidents
July 2-4, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 85 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 2, and Wednesday, July 4. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, two alarms, six ambulance or medical assists, five animal problems, simple assault, three citizen disputes, nine citizen assists, conspiracy, two DUIs, two fires, a family problem, a fireworks incident, an intoxicated person, non-vandalism property damage, two suspicious incidents, two traffic accidents with property damage, two property thefts, vandalism, a wanted person and five welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested five persons between the dates of July 2 and July 4.
Bradley W. Rakausky, of Joplin, Missouri, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Britney V. Roper, of Evanston, was arrested for theft.
Lamar Spencer, of Garden City, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Julie R. Struve, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Marshal W. White, of Las Vegas, was arrested for public intoxication.
