The Evanston Police Department responded to 99 incidents between the dates of Thursday, July 19, and Sunday, July 22. Incidents included two alarms, three ambulance or medical assists, 21 animal problems, a citizen dispute, eight citizen assists, a civil problem, disorderly conduct, DUI, DUS, an emergency detention and a family problem.
Officers also responded to an intoxicated person incident, two juvenile problems, two keeping the peace incidents, lost or found property, loitering, two noise problems, non-vandalism property damage, five suspicious incidents, seven traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic accidents with personal injury, two traffic complaints, threatening, vagrancy and three welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested five persons between the dates of July 19 and July 22.
Scott Amalfitano, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for public intoxication.
Maxine C. Bye, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.
Prasad J. Mattey, of Cumming, Georgia, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Kurt B. Snedeker, of Ogden, Utah, was arrested for a miscellaneous traffic law violation and driving while under the influence.
Adrian J. Zahiri-Shawver, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
