Evanston police incidents

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 210 incidents between the dates of Monday, Jan. 29, and Sunday, Feb. 11. Incidents included an assault, three alarms, 12 ambulance or medical assists, 30 animal problems, breaking and entering, residential burglary, two controlled substance possessions, two domestic problems, disorderly conduct, a drug interdiction, two DUIs, two driving under suspensions, two family fights, fraud, a fire, five harassments and two intoxicated persons.
Other incidents included six juvenile problems, a K9 sniff, three keeping the peace incidents, non-vandalism property damage, two protection order violations, a prescription drug problem, property destruction, a prowler, attempted suicide, six traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic accidents with personal injury, threatening, two property thefts, unsecure premises, vagrancy, five wanted persons and seven welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 14 persons between the dates of Feb. 5 and Feb. 11.
Francis X. Barth, of LaBarge, was arrested for failing to appear and aggravated burglary.
Emily T. Farley, of Greeley, Colorado, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting.
Joshua R. Gorringe, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Stephen F. Green, of Evanston, was arrested for shoplifting and possessing paraphernalia.
Christina L. Henderson, of Evanston, was arrested for fraud/nonsufficient funds check.
Ryan R. Jones, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Morgan P. Kane, of South Lake Tahoe, California, was arrested for a drug violation.
Chance R. Martin, of Roy, Utah, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Christopher E. Nicola, of South Lake Tahoe, California, was arrested for a drug violation.
James A. Sitz, Jr., of Evanston, was arrested for fraud/nonsufficient funds check.
Garrett A. Smith, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Misty W. Snyder, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
William J. Todd, of Post, Texas, was arrested for public intoxication and interfering with police.
Jessica Vanbree, of Rock Springs, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia, a hit and run and driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
