Evanston police incidents
Jan. 25-28, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 58 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Jan. 25, and Sunday, Jan. 28. Incidents included an alarm, two citizen disputes, child abuse or neglect, five citizen assists, a DUI, two family problems, an intoxicated person, loitering, a missing person, non-vandalism property damage, a protection order violation, two suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run accidents, a traffic accident with property damage, three property thefts, a wanted person and three welfare checks.
Evanston officers arrested five persons between the dates of Jan. 25 and Jan. 28.
Taylor D. Berry, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Pablo A. Godinez, of Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Nathan K. Mackie, of Layton, Utah, was arrested for failing to appear and possessing paraphernalia.
Krista F. Patch, of Evanston, was arrested for shoplifting.
Richard B. Taylor, of Evanston, was arrested for damage to public or private property and driving while under the influence of drugs.
