Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 168 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Jan. 11, and Wednesday, Jan. 17. Incidents included three abandoned vehicles, three alarms, nine ambulance or medical assists, 24 animal problems, two assaults, an agency assist, 10 citizen assists, two citizen disputes, two civil problems, counterfeit funds, controlled substance use, domestic violence, two DUIs, DWUS, three family fights, two fires, fraud, harassment, two information reports, three intoxicated persons and two juvenile problems.

Officers also responded to a report of a juvenile runaway, three keep the peace incidents, a missing person, five noise problems, interfering with police, non-vandalism property damage, a probation/parole violation, property destruction, a prowler, stalking, attempted suicide, suspicion, a hit and run, 15 traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic complaints, a traffic hazard, threatening, four property thefts, trespassing, unsecure premises, four wanted persons and two welfare checks. 

The Evanston Police Department arrested 15 persons between the dates of Jan. 11 and Jan. 17.

Ryan L. Abbott, of Duchesne, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.

Chad M. Baroody, of Evanston, was arrested for reckless endangering.

William D. Brown, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery and violating a protection order.

Montana C. Evans, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia. 

Christina L. Henderson, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.

Shantell L. Martin, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence, driving while under suspension and driving without an interlocking device. 

Wade M. Muller, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Christopher Parra, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear. 

Jacob T. Segur, of Pinedale, was arrested for driving while under suspension.

Christopher A. Serna, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Douglas A. Smith, of Genoa, Ohio, was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs and possessing paraphernalia.

Laddie R. Tycz, Jr., of Evanston, was arrested for failing to pay child support and possessing paraphernalia. 

Michael S. White, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication. 

Tracie L. Wilke, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic assault and violating a protection order.

Reanna L. York, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with police and purchase or possession of alcohol by a person under 21.
