Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 64 incidents between the dates of Monday, Aug. 28, and Wednesday, Aug. 30. Incidents included an aggravated assault, 16 animal problems, a simple assault, two agency assists, a breaking and entering, a citizen complaint, a citizen assist, two civil problems, a family fight, a fire, an information report, lost or found property, two parking problems and non-vandalism property damage.

Incidents also included three prisoner transports, a radar trailer, suspicious activity, a suspicious incident, two suspicions, two traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic hazard, threatening, two property thefts, a wanted person, and three welfare checks. 

The Evanston Police Department arrested four persons between the dates of Aug. 28 and Aug. 30.

Wesley J. Brown, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.

Cameron R. John, of Evanston, was arrested for larceny.

Clara K. Laird, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear. 

Sarah D. Tingey, of Evanston, was arrested for aggravated assault on a pregnant woman and misdemeanor probation revocation.
