Evanston police incidents
Aug. 14-16, 2017
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 83 incidents between the dates of Monday, Aug. 14, and Wednesday, Aug. 16. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, four ambulance or medical assists, an agency assist, a citizen complaint, two citizen disputes, two citizen assists, a domestic problem, a DUI, a family fight, a fire, fraud, fireworks, harassment, three juvenile problems, a missing person, a protection order violation, two prisoner transports, two suspicious incidents, suspicion, six traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, a bicycle theft, a trespassing incident, a wanted person, one warrant arrest, and four welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested three persons between the dates of Aug. 14 and Aug. 16
Skyler A. Hulse, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of 0.08 percent or greater.
Meranda E. Lovato, of Evanston, was arrested for theft.
Nathan K. Mackie, of Layton, Utah, was arrested for failing to appear.
