Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 152 incidents between the dates of Monday, Sept. 16, and Sunday, Sept. 22. Incidents included four alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, 32 animal problems, two assaults, two agency assists, a residential burglary (Del Rio Dr.), a citizen dispute, five citizen assists, three citizen investigative contacts, controlled substance possession, a DUI, fraud, a juvenile runaway, two juvenile problems, keeping the peace and lost or found property.

Officers also responded to a missing person, a minor in possession of tobacco, three noise problems, four prisoner transports, two school problems, three suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, five traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, a traffic hazard, two property thefts, threatening, trespassing, unsecure premises, vehicle theft, three vandalism incidents and 10 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested two persons between the dates of Sept. 16 and Sept. 22.

Brooke L. Fiack, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Jason C. Napoletano, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear, failing to pay, possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor probation revocation.
