Evanston police incidents
Oct. 22-31, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 221 incidents between the dates of Monday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 31. Incidents included three assaults, eight alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, 41 animal problems, five agency assists, four citizen complaints, six citizen disputes, six citizen assists, three civil problems, child abuse or neglect, marijuana possession, two disorderly conduct incidents, domestic violence, DWUS, a family fight, two family problems, two frauds and identity theft.
Officers also responded to three reports of harassment, three juvenile problems, keeping the peace, a livestock problem, lost or found property, two residence or vehicle lockouts, a missing person, threenoise problems, a parking problem, a protection order violation, seven suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run incidents, two traffic complaints, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic hazard, a traffic offense, three trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, three vagrancy incidents, two vandalisms, three wanted persons, a warrant arrest and 12 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested nine persons between the dates of Oct. 22 and Oct. 31.
Ashley Beck, of Evanston, was arrested for battery of a household member and minor in possession.
Benjamin N. Fortune, of Coalville, Utah, was arrested for failing to appear.
Michelle E. Gutierrez, of Evanston, was arrested for shoplifting.
Jodi D. Holgate, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Nathan K. Mackie, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Maurizio R. Mariotti, of Evanston, was arrested for 15 counts of sexual exploitation of children.
Ann L. Parchinski, of Grand Junction, Colorado, was arrested as a fugitive from justice.
Paul Saavedra, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal trespassing.
Andrew D. Snedden, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.
