Evanston police incidents

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 196 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 17. Incidents included five alarms, nine ambulance or medical assists, 37 animal problems, arson, a simple assault, four agency assists, a citizen complaint, five citizen disputes, eight citizen assists, five citizen investigative contacts, a civil problem, five controlled substance possessions, disorderly conduct, three domestic violence incidents, a DUI, an escort, a fire, fraud, six information reports, two intoxicated persons, three juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a minor in possession of alcohol, a noise problem, a parking problem and non-vandalism property damage.
Officers also responded to a report of paraphernalia, a parking problem, two prisoner transports, a school problem, shoplifting, 10 suspicious incidents, three hit-and-run traffic accidents, five traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, a traffic hazard, threatening, theft from a vehicle, shoplifting, three trespassing incidents, unsecure premises and 10 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 12 persons between the dates of Nov. 7 and Nov. 17.
Kelly T. Archibald, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with a police officer, battery and fourth-degree arson.
Sarah C. Crandall, of Evanston, was arrested for the purchase and/or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
Scott A. Crandall, of Evanston, was arrested for the purchase and/or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
Edward Dacey, of Haliburton, Ontario, Canada, was arrested for public intoxication.
Arla M. Dean, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Emmanuel A. Delgado, of Evanston was arrested for domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call.
Dirk A. Dinnel, of Wauneta, Nebraska, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Theodore E. Richard, of Lafayette, Louisiana, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Jessica M. Salas, of Evanston, was arrested for the purchase and/or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
Ashley M. Shipman, of Rock Springs, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and theft.
Shannon M. Stout, of Brighton, Colorado, was arrested for stalking.
Neal L. Vreeland, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
