Evanston police incidents
Nov. 18-24, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 117 incidents between the dates of Monday, Nov. 18, and Sunday, Nov. 24. Incidents include seven alarms, seven ambulance or medical assists, 21 animal problems, two agency assists, a citizen dispute, four citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, a civil problem, counterfeit funds, controlled substance use, marijuana possession, controlled substance possession, domestic violence, a DUI, two harassment incidents, identity theft, an information report, two juvenile problems, keeping the peace, four noise problems, three parking problems, five suspicious incidents, a hit and run, three traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, two trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, four wanted persons, a warrant arrest and five welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested eight persons between the dates of Nov. 18 and Nov. 24.
Cory P. Case, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance and failing to pay.
Jennifer M. Cook, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.
Gilber A. Delgado Jr., of Evanston, was arrested for stalking.
Dawn S. Denlinger-Plew, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol and an out-of-county warrant.
Caitlen A. Edwards, of Lynden, Washington, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and driving while under suspension.
Jerry C. Lamb, of Wanship, Utah, was arrested for failing to appear.
Arturo G. Morales, of Evanston, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice.
Jasmine R. Wilson, of Lyman, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
