Evanston police incidents
May 20-23, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 62 incidents between the dates of Monday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 23. Incidents included two alarms, three ambulance or medical assists, 14 animal problems, simple assault, an agency assist a citizen dispute, three citizen assists, a civil problem, marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, a littering/pollution problem a missing person, four noise problems, suspicious activity, a suspicious incident, a suspicious person, a traffic accident with property damage and five welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested two persons between the dates of May 20 and May 23.
Jordan V. Fox, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia.
Dennis J. Gross, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
