Evanston police incidents
May 16-19, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 79 incidents between the dates of Thursday, May 16, and Sunday, May 19. Incidents included an alarm, two ambulance or medical assists, 13 animal problems, two agency assists, six citizen disputes, five citizen assists, four civil problems, controlled substance possession, a DUI, three DWUS incidents, a family fight, identity theft, harassment, two juvenile problems, lost or found property, two noise problems, a parking problem, two non-vandalism property damage incidents, property destruction, three suspicious incidents, a hit and run, a traffic accident with property damage, theft, vandalism, a wanted person and seven welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested four persons between the dates of May 16 and May 19.
Gerardo B. Delgadillo, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving while under suspension.
Brandon C. Marise, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Christopher D. Smith, of Evanston, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice.
Devin R. Wood, of Evanston, was arrested for attempting to elude and property destruction.
