Evanston police incidents
March 25-31, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 115 incidents between the dates of Monday, March 25, and Sunday, March 31. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, two alarms, two ambulance or medical assists, 17 animal problems, five agency assists, a citizen complaint, a citizen dispute, two citizen assists, criminal entry, marijuana possession, domestic violence, a fire, fondling, two harassments, an intoxicated person, a juvenile problem, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a missing person, two noise problems, a parking problem, non-vandalism property damage, shoplifting, two suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, seven traffic accidents with property damage, a tobacco problem, property theft, trespassing and eight welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested three persons between the dates of March 25 and March 31.
Lance E. Hayes, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal entry and property destruction.
Richard G. Kuntz Jr., of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia.
Jacob A. Webb, of Randolph, Utah, was arrested for domestic battery.
