Evanston police incidents
March 18-20, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 68 incidents between the dates of Monday, March 18, and Wednesday, March 20. Incidents included five ambulance or medical assists, 17 animal problems, two citizen disputes, two citizen assists, discharging firearms, two harassments, an intoxicated person, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, three traffic accidents with property damage, trespassing and six welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested one person between the dates of March 18 and March 20.
Russell G. Phillips, of Lyman, was arrested for delivery of marijuana, attempt/conspiracy, possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possessing a controlled substance.
