Evanston police incidents
June 3-16, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 325 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 3, and Sunday, June 16. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, 13 alarms, eight ambulance or medical assists, 65 animal problems, a simple assault, six agency assists, breach of peace, two citizen complaints, five citizen disputes, 11 citizen assists, a civil problem, three controlled substance possessions, four disorderly conduct incidents, domestic violence, three DUIs, DWUS, a false fire alarm, two fires, fraud, three harassments and six intoxicated persons.
Officers also responded to a juvenile runaway, eight juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, 12 noise problems, paraphernalia, a protection order violation, property destruction, 15 suspicious incidents, nine traffic accidents with property damage, shoplifting, threatening, a traffic complaint, three property thefts, three trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, four wanted persons, a warrant arrest and 16 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 19 persons between the dates of June 3 and June 16.
Todd R. Alvarado, a homeless person, was arrested for public intoxication.
Anderson D. Antelope Sr., of Evanston, was arrested for criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
Vanessa A. Bye, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Darin C. Crandall, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Ryan C. Cruz, of Evanston, was arrested for shoplifting and having an open container.
Zachary S. Ellis, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Daniel N. Garamendi, of Santa Rosa, California, was arrested for interfering with police and driving while under the influence.
Dennis J. Gross, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.
Jacob T. Heaven, of Mountain View, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Christopher M. Hernandez, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and resisting arrest.
Milo P. Larvie, of Evanston, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice and possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Derek Lloyd, of Hyde Park, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Hal E. Nicholls, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Mary T. Pryor, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Justin A. Renard, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Andres O. Samaniego-Machado, of Orem, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Casey J. Stevig, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
Dusty R. Sweatfield, of Evanston, was arrested for false pretenses.
Damien Trojan, of Church Wells, Utah, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
