Evanston police incidents
June 17-23, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 183 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 17, and Sunday, June 23. Incidents included three abandoned vehicles, six alarms, eight ambulance or medical assists, 35 animal problems, five agency assists, two citizen complaints, three citizen disputes, two citizen assists, a civil problem, controlled substance possession, two domestic violence incidents, three DUIs, DWUS, a family fight, two fireworks incidents, harassment, two juvenile problems, keeping the peace, a drug/narcotic violation, three noise problems, paraphernalia, a protection order violation, a recovered stolen vehicle, eight suspicious incidents, a hit and run, six traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, a tobacco problem, trespassing, property theft, vagrancy, three wanted persons and 12 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 9 persons between the dates of June 17 and June 23.
Heidi J. Anderson, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Robert W. Bower, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Samantha A. Brumme, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Cindy B. Cummings, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear, misuse of a telephone and stalking.
Joshua J. Doan, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and a misdemeanor probation violation.
Camron J. Eagle, of Provo, Utah, was arrested for interfering with a 911 call and domestic assault.
Charles D. Linn, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and damage to private or public property.
Aris A. Morales, of El Central, California, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Esual Torres, of Calexico, California, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
