Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 119 incidents between the dates of Monday, Jan. 21, and Sunday, Jan. 27. Incidents included an alarm, seven ambulance or medical assists, 17 animal problems, simple assault, three agency assists, two citizen disputes, a citizen complaint, seven citizen assists, two civil problems, controlled substance possession, DUI, DWUS, fraud, three harassments, two intoxicated persons, five juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a littering/pollution problem, three noise problems, non-vandalism property damage, a prisoner transport, a probation/parole violation, a residence or vehicle lockout, two suspicious incidents, four hit-and-run traffic accidents, nine traffic accidents with property damage, property theft, a traffic hazard, four trespassing incidents, two unsecure premises and nine welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested four persons between the dates of Jan. 21 and Jan. 27.

Delane Manderfeld, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Taryn N. Martin, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension, trespassing, shoplifting and possessing paraphernalia. 

Shawna M. Miner, of Evanston, was arrested for a felony probation violation. 

Travis R. Vetos, or Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.
