Evanston police incidents
Feb. 28 - March 17, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 367 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Feb. 28, and Sunday, March 17. Incidents included two abandoned vehicles, an assault, eight alarms, 14 ambulance or medical assists, 64 animal problems, 10 agency assists, an alcohol offense, breach of peace, a citizen complaint, six citizen disputes, 13 citizen assists, six civil problems, controlled substance possession, a dead body, discharging firearms, two domestic violence incidents, three DUIs, five DWUS incidents, two family fights, two family problems, fraud and a fire.
Officers also responded to a harassment, four intoxicated persons, a juvenile runaway, five juvenile problems, three keeping the peace incidents, lost or found property, a missing person, five noise problems, five parking problems three paraphernalia possessions, non-vandalism property damage, two probation/parole violations, a prowler (Valley View Ave.), reckless endangering, two shoplifting incidents, suspicious activity, three school problems, 11 suspicious incidents, five hit-and-run traffic accidents, 11 traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic hazards, threatening, a tobacco problem, property theft, trespassing, four unsecure premises, four wanted persons and 25 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 25 persons between the dates of Feb. 28 and March 17.
Syria H. Atencio, of Denver, was arrested for assault.
Parker M. Austin, of Evanston, was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation.
Elsie Carrasco-Rodriguez, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension and on an out-of-county warrant.
Breck A. Daniels, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Casey R. Deister, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.
Marcus P. Delgado, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Amber N. Dollar, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Miguel Echeverria, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation and larceny.
Geoffrey A. Gray, of Santa Barbara, California, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia.
Keneth L. Hanson-Figueroa, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and attempt/conspiracy.
Heather R. Hayden, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and attempt/conspiracy.
Michael K. Jaimez, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
Joseph S. Kuefler, of Murray, Utah, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Phillip A. Kuhn, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.
Ryan Mori, of Santa Barbara, California, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia.
Meranda J. Napoletano, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia.
Kelly D. Orton, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Tabathe R. Pepper, of Evanston, was arrested for conspiracy to deliver heroin.
Janeen A. Russell, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Kortney L. Thompson, of Evanston, was arrested for first-degree sexual assault.
Jeremy C. Rex, of Thornton, Colorado, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Kyle Thurman, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.
Justin L. Walls, of Evanston, was arrested for a child support issue.
Timothy C. Werner, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
Jamie C. Williams, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia.
