Evanston police incidents
Feb. 14-20, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 149 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Feb. 14, and Wednesday, Feb. 20. Incidents included six alarms, seven ambulance or medical assists, 21 animal problems, four agency assists, breach of peace, three citizen disputes, six citizen assists, a civil problem, two disorderly conduct incidents, two family fights, two family problems, two harassments, two intoxicated persons, a juvenile runaway, two juvenile problems, two keeping the peace incidents, lost or found property, two missing persons, five noise problems, eight parking problems, three non-vandalism property damage incidents, four suspicious incidents a hit and run, nine traffic accidents with property damage, threatening, two property thefts, unsecure premises, a wanted person and nine welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested three persons between the dates of Feb. 14 and Feb. 20.
Austin W. Goodfellow, of Evanston, was arrested for interfering with police and an out-of-county warrant.
Grant P. Ponder, a homeless person, was arrested for public intoxication.
Brian J. Walk, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.
