Evanston police incidents
Feb. 11-13, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 71 incidents between the dates of Monday, Feb. 11, and Wednesday, Feb. 13. Incidents included two alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, 13 animal problems, a citizen complaint, two citizen disputes, a citizen assist, a DUI, a fire, a juvenile problem, keeping the peace, a noise problem, two parking problems, non-vandalism property damage, property destruction, a suspicious incident, a hit and run, three traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic hazards, shoplifting, unsecure premises and three welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested two persons between the dates of Feb. 11 and Feb. 13.
Timothy C. Werner, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
Kenneth J. Williams, of Lyman, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
