Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 176 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Aug. 9, and Wednesday, Aug. 15. Incidents included three alarms, six ambulance or medical assists, 35 animal problems, three agency assists, two citizen complaints, three citizen disputes, eight citizen assists, two civil problems, counterfeit funds, criminal entry, two disorderly conduct incidents, DUI and a family fight.

Officers also responded to a fire, a fireworks incident, two harassment incidents, an intoxicated person, four juvenile problems, two keeping the peace incidents, two littering incidents, a missing person, two parking problems, non-vandalism property damage, a protection order violation, 10 suspicious incidents, five traffic accidents with property damage, three property thefts, threatening, unsecure premises, two wanted persons and five welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested six persons between the dates of Aug. 9 and Aug. 15.

Joe D. Clyde, of Herriman, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.

Casey R. Deister, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Brian R. Holford, of Evanston, was arrested on bond revocation.

Jessica McGrath, of Evanston, was arrested on bond revocation.

Forrest T. Smith, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.

Eric F. Willis, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
