Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 89 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 4. Incidents included two alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, 12 animal problems, two agency assists, four citizen assists, two domestic violence incidents, two DUIs, a fire, harassment, an intoxicated person, keeping the peace, two missing persons, five suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, two traffic accidents with property damage, property theft, three trespassing incidents, vagrancy and four welfare checks. 

The Evanston Police Department arrested four persons between the dates of Aug. 1 and Aug. 4.

Richard J. Fitzgerald, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

Kevin G. Rojas Lopez, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater. 

Matthew J. Stobbe, of Murray, Utah, was arrested for driving while under the influence, possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia. 

Brandon T. Woods, of Clearfield, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
