Evanston police incidents
April 4-14, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 207 incidents between the dates of Thursday, April 4, and Sunday, April 14. Incidents included six alarms, 13 ambulance or medical assists, 33 animal problems, two marijuana possessions, two controlled substance possessions, a curfew or loitering incident, three DUIs and three DWUS incidents.
Officers also responded to a family problem, a fire, fraud, harassment, five juvenile problems, two keeping the peace incidents, a minor in the possession of alcohol, a probation/parole violation, a protection order violation, a prowler (Gannett Dr.) six suspicious incidents, eight wanted persons and 14 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested 20 persons between the dates of April 4 and April 14.
Omar F. Aguilera, of El Centro, California, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Benjamin E. Atkinson, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear.
Chase A. Bitsue, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and attempt/conspiracy.
Robert J. Finney II, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Amber Forbush, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver and attempt/conspiracy.
Lance A. Guidry, of Jennings, Louisiana, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Dustin D. Hamp, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Austin K. Jarrell, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Phillip A. Kuhn, of Evanston, was arrested for breach of peace.
Craig L. Longsoldier, homeless, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Amber R. Nowotny, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possessing paraphernalia.
Calvin J. Pierce, of Evanston, was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and the purchase or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
Stacy M. Price, of Evanston, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance.
David A. Savage, of Evanston, was arrested for speeding and driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08 percent or greater.
Wilfred Sias, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol and for driving while under suspension.
Devin R. Symons, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Chase L. Steinke, of Evanston, was arrested for an out-of-county warrant.
David J. Walker, of Ogden, Utah, was arrested for public intoxication.
Shayann M. Wicks, of Evanston, was arrested for having an open container in a vehicle, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance and possessing paraphernalia.
Devin R. Wood, of Evanston, was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation.
