Evanston police incidents
April 1-3, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 63 incidents between the dates of Monday, April 1, and Wednesday, April 3. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, four ambulance or medical assists, 17 animal problems, three agency assists, a citizen dispute, a citizen assist, marijuana possession, two domestic violence incidents, two intoxicated persons, a juvenile problem, non-vandalism property damage, four suspicious incidents, a hit and run, two traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic offenses and two welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested four persons between the dates of April 1 and April 3.
Keenan T. Barnes, of New Hebron, Mississippi, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Brandee L. Bond, of Cheyenne, was arrested for domestic battery.
Bret R. Brangham, of Green River, was arrested for public intoxication.
Morgan E. Jenkins, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia, shoplifting and damage to private or public property.
