Evanston police incidents

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 132 incidents between the dates of Monday, Nov. 1, and Sunday, Nov. 7. Incidents included four alarms, four ambulance or medical assists, 13 animal problems, an assault, an agency assist, five citizen disputes, a citizen assist, a civil problem, disorderly conduct, eluding by motor vehicle, a fight, a fire, four harassments and 11 information reports.

Officers also responded to four reports of juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, two non-vandalism property damage incidents, two protection order violations, a probation/parole violation, two prowlers, five school problems, 10 suspicious incidents, three traffic accidents with property damage, two thefts, threatening, a traffic offense, three shoplifting incidents, trespassing, vagrancy, two wanted persons and nine welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested six persons between the dates of Nov. 1 and Nov. 7.

Steve B. Brown, of Evanston, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.

Louis R. Cordova II, of Evanston, was arrested for felony probation revocation and misdemeanor probation revocation.

Carlos A. Heredia-Valencia, of Evanston, was arrested for bond revocation.

Eddie J. Lomax, of Ogden, Utah, was arrested for criminal entry.

Johanne A. Maycock, of Evanston, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Venessa E. Robinson, of Woodruff, was arrested for shoplifting.
