May 28 – June 3, 2020

Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 167 incidents between the dates of Thursday, May 28, and Wednesday, June 3. Incidents included eight alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, 21 animal problems, two simple assaults, two citizen complaints, three citizen disputes, five citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, three civil problems, two domestic violence incidents, three DUIs, DWUS, a fire, harassment, seven information reports, an intoxicated person, three juvenile problems, a littering/pollution problem, a motorcycle/recreational vehicle problem, three noise problems, paraphernalia, a parking problem, a prisoner transport, three prowlers, seven suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, six traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic complaints, a traffic offense, a traffic hazard, threatening, shoplifting, three trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, a wanted person, a warrant arrest and 16 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested nine persons between the dates of May 28 and June 3.

Cheryl A. Abriani, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Patrick A. Cobb, of Evanston, was arrested for aggravated assault on a pregnant woman.

Austin K. Jarrell, of Evanston, was arrested for bond revocation and failing to appear.

Brett K. Johnson, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.

Richard D. Kempfer, of Cheyenne, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Christopher S. Riley, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Angelica C. Sene, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia.

Andrew D. Snedden, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal trespassing and misdemeanor probation violation.

Daniel R. Stidham, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
