Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 150 incidents between the dates of Monday, March 23, and Wednesday, April 1. Incidents included four ambulance or medical assists, 28 animal problems, five agency assists, three citizen assists, marijuana possession, two controlled substance possessions, domestic violence, a DUI, fraud, an intoxicated person, a minor in possession of alcohol, a missing person, a protection order violation, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, six traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, three wanted persons and 14 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested seven persons between the dates of March 23 and April 1.

Jeff Berchtold, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.

Phillip E. Cordova, of Rock Springs, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and being a fugitive from justice.

Keri A. Debenham, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and being a fugitive from justice.

Bruce E. Gerber, of Clifton, Colorado, was arrested for failing to appear.

Joshua R. Gorringe, of Evanston, was arrested for bond revocation, shoplifting and contempt of court.

Kevin A. Litsue, of Evanston, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Robert L. Wasicek, of Bear River, was arrested for driving while under the influence and driving while under suspension.
