Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 158 incidents between the dates of Monday, March 15, and Sunday, March 21. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, six assaults, an assault with a firearm, an assault with another weapon, four ambulance or medical assists, 21 animal problems, an alcohol offense, an agency assist, breaking and entering (Rail Center), a citizen complaint, four citizen disputes, a civil problem, controlled substance possession, two curfew or loitering incidents, domestic violence and three DUIs.

Officers also responded to a family fight, fraud, harassment, 11 information reports, two juvenile problems, a K9 sniff, a missing person, a minor in possession of tobacco, paraphernalia, four parking problems, non-vandalism property damage, three suspicious incidents, a hit and run, nine traffic accidents with property damage, theft, property theft, three trespassing incidents, four unsecure premises, a warrant arrest and two welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 10 persons between the dates of March 15 and March 21.

Richanda E. Burnham, of Lyman, was arrested for aggravated assault and battery and interfering with a police officer.

Brandon T. Butters, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08% or greater and misdemeanor probation violation.

Douglas w. Cates, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol only.

Dallas H. Courville, of South Salt Lake, Utah, was arrested for three counts of possessing a controlled substance, being a fugitive from justice, interfering with a police officer, possessing a controlled substance or liquid in jail and two counts of possessing a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Matthew A. Montoya, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing paraphernalia and the purchase and/or possession of alcohol by/for someone under the age of 21.

Gina M. Pillow, of Nice, California, was arrested for domestic battery.

Bryce M. Salazar, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal intent.

Amber K. Schulte, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.

Daunna M. Smith, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08% or greater and having an open container in a vehicle.

Breanna K. Williams, of Rock Springs, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
