Evanston police incidents
June 4-7, 2020
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 87 incidents between the dates of Thursday, June 4, and Sunday, June 7. Incidents included an assault, 10 ambulance or medical assists, 20 animal problems, a citizen complaint, three citizen disputes, three citizen assists, three civil problems, three domestic violence incidents, a DUI, two escorts, a fire a family problem and an information report.
Officers also responded to a report of lost or found property, a livestock problem, a residence or vehicle lockout, two noise problems, non-vandalism property damage, a probation/parole violation, two suspicious incidents, a hit and run, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, two traffic hazards, a tobacco problem, two wanted persons and three welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested five persons between the dates of June 4 and June 7.
Kristie R. Cole, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear and for possessing a controlled substance.
Christopher M. Hernandez, of Evanston, was arrested for a misdemeanor probation violation.
Dorian S. Hernandez-Reyez, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Baltazar M. Hornedo, of Evanston, was arrested for assault and battery.
Kory T. Lunak, of Salt Lake City, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
