Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 113 incidents between the dates of Monday, Jan. 11, and Sunday, Jan. 17. Incidents included three alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, 15 animal problems, simple assault, two agency assists, two citizen disputes, a citizen assist, a citizen investigative contact, a civil problem, counterfeit funds, two controlled substance possessions and two dead bodies.

Officers also responded to a report of domestic violence, two DUIs, DWUS, an emergency detention, nine information reports, two juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, four parking problems, non-vandalism property damage, a protection order violation, a prisoner transport, two suspicious incidents, five traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic offense, trespassing, three unsecure premises, three wanted persons and 10 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested six persons between the dates of Jan. 11 and Jan. 17.

Frederick A. Bugni, of Taylorsville, Utah, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance.

Ezra M. Davis, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08% or greater.

Joshua R. Gorringe, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.

Victor A. Hernandez, of Evanston, was arrested for probation revocation.

Marcos Lepe-Gutierrez, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.

Bradley A. Peterson, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
