Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 75 incidents between the dates of Thursday, Feb. 20, and Sunday, Feb. 23. Incidents included an aggravated assault, two alarms, six ambulance or medical assists, eight animal problems, an agency assist, two citizen complaints, two citizen disputes, two citizen assists, two disorderly conduct incidents, domestic violence, DWUS, a fire, a family problem, two information reports, an intoxicated person, a juvenile problem, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a noise problem, a parking problem, a school problem, five suspicious incidents, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, threatening, a tobacco problem, vandalism, two wanted persons and five welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested two persons between the dates of Feb. 20 and Feb. 23.

James L. Dawson, of Layton, Utah, was arrested for a child support issue.

Pablo G. Mendez, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
