Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 163 incidents between the dates of Monday, Aug. 30, and Monday, Sept. 6. Incidents included four assaults, an alarm, 13 ambulance or medical assists, 22 animal problems, breaking and entering, five citizen complaints, two citizen disputes, three citizen assists, three civil problems, four DUIs, DWUS, an escort, four family fights, a family problem, two harassments, four information reports, an intoxicated person, two juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a livestock problem, three noise problems, three parking problems, non-vandalism property damage, a probation/parole violation, three suspicious incidents, eight traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, a traffic hazard, a traffic offense, two property thefts, shoplifting, trespassing, unsecure premises, two vagrancy incidents, four wanted persons and eight welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested 10 persons between the dates of Aug. 30 and Sept. 6.

Christopher E. Chapman, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and possessing a controlled substance.

Christian M. Findley, of Afton, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.

Amanda R. Gerber, of Evanston, was arrested for contempt of court.

Leticia C. Graham, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08% or greater.

Kevin S. Naiar, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Jason L. Ross, of Huntsville, Texas, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Tory T. Walker, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation.

David K. Watson, of Evanston, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and driving while under the influence.

Timothy C. Werner, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation.

Jocelyn M. Zaragoza, of Evanston, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant and for failing to pay.
