Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 176 incidents between the dates of Monday, April 6, and Sunday, April 19. Incidents included four alarms, 14 ambulance or medical assists, 19 animal problems, an agency assist, simple assault, a citizen complaint, seven citizen disputes, a citizen assist, child neglect, three citizen investigative contacts, a civil problem, controlled substance possession, controlled substance use, destruction of property, discharging firearms, four domestic violence incidents, three DUIs, DWUS, an escort, a fire, harassment, five information reports, a background investigation, an intoxicated person, four juvenile problems, keeping the peace, two missing persons, five noise problems, two parking problems, two prisoner transports, a protection order violation, a recovered stolen vehicle, four suspicious incidents, six traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, traffic control, a traffic offense, property theft, unsecure premises, vandalism and 18 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested five persons between the dates of April 6 and April 19.

Steven Dickinson, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Johanne A. Maycock, of Evanston, was arrested for a drug violation.

Shawna M. McIntire, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Jason Morgan, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Harley J. Warner, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation, the purchase and/or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21 and public intoxication.
