ROY, Utah – The Evanston boys and girls cross country teams had solid performances at Friday’s Royal Run at Roy High School.
The Lady Red Devils earned a third-place finish, while the boys team came in fifth.
Reghan Worley, a junior, led the girls’ team with a third-place finish in 19:11.9. The Lady Red Devils scored 78 points as a team.
Sophomore Dawson Crofts took third in 15:49.2, while junior Weston Wiley was sixth in 16:00.6 to lead the Red Devils, who finished with 121 points.
Joshua Leatham of Viewmont won the boys’ race in 15:25.3. Northridge took first as a team with 90 points.
Sydney Stout of Layton won the girls’ race in 19:08. Layton also won the team title with 37 points.
