She was born March 18, 1934, in Bison, South Dakota, to Clarence E. and Ruth S. Anderson Albertson. She loved to garden and cook, and she always enjoyed her grandchildren. Eleanor was a devout Seventh-Day Adventist Christian and she was everyone’s “grandma.” She also collected memorabilia, including collector plates, fine china, crystal, silver and ceramics.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Travis; a son, Robert Bisgaard; her best friend, Opal; and three brothers, Rolland, Wayne and Gerald Albertson.

She is survived by her sons, Fred (Darlene) Bisgaard, Ed (Wanda) Bisgaard and Robert Walker; her grandchildren, Derrick (Emily) Bisgaard, Nevin Bisgaard, Josh Bisgaard, Jessi Wright, Tiffany Feil and Cassie Land; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Albertson and Frank Albertson; and a sister, Charlene Swanson.
