Douglas William Drinkle

Douglas William Drinkle passed away at his home in Evanston on Tuesday, Jan. 31. He was born in Rock Springs on Sept. 10, 1961, to Duane and Blanche Drinkle.

Doug spent the majority of his life in Evanston. He worked for Superior Rental as a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed hunting, camping, working on small engines and RC cars, and he was a member of the Gun Club.

Doug is survived by his brother, Don (Pat) Drinkle of Green River; his sister, Diane (Bob) Tyler, also of Green River; his uncle and aunt Jim and JoAnn Drinkle; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Buddy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Blanche; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston, and he will be laid to rest with his parents in the Evanston City Cemetery at a later date.

A luncheon for Doug will be held from noon-1:30 p.m. on April 22 at the Morse Lee LDS Church, located at 1224 Morse Lee Street in Evanston. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Evanston City Cemetery. Online condolences can be given by visiting
