Douglas Glenn Ellsworth, 87, passed away March 6, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins.
Douglas was born on Oct. 26, 1932, in Frontier, to Earl and Retha (Durney) Ellsworth.
Doug was married to the love of his life, Mary Lou, for 65 years. Doug proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was extremely active in community and fraternal organizations.
Doug was a member of the Free Masons for more than 50 years. He was past Master and Grand Commander of Wyoming, member of the Red Cross of Constantine, Order of the Eastern Star, active member of the American Legion and the Shriners of Wyoming.
Doug is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of Rawlins; sons, Steven Ellsworth, Bill (Debbie) Ellsworth and Jesse (Amee) Ellsworth; Keely Ellsworth; grandchildren, Seth, Eric, Zach, Elyse and Payton; sister, Shirley Buffenbarger; and angel grandchildren, Ryan and Abigail.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Retha Ellsworth; brother, Willis Ellsworth; and daughter, Susan Ann Ellsworth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights Templar Eye Foundation.
Masonic memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on March 16, at the Masonic Lodge No. 4 in Evanston, with Dave Moon serving as officiant.
Cremation is under the care of Jacoby Funeral Home.
